Your adventure begins at Hotel Panorama, where you wake up in a beautifully decorated room with an irresistible panoramic view of Prelog Lake, the largest artificial lake (and the second largest in general) in Croatia. Immediately after waking up, you dress comfortably because a day filled with exploration and active pleasures and experiences awaits you.

Morning:

After a relaxing awakening, a delicious, nutritious breakfast at the hotel is key to a good start to the day. Ready for adventure, we choose a bike or comfortable walking shoes and head towards the historical center of Prelog. It is there that we first visit the Baroque beauty – the church of St. James the Great. You will be delighted by the four inner domes and the magnificent altar, unique in this area.

Across the street from the church, there is the Prelog Croata insulanus Museum. Museum collections, contemporary and indigenous, with carefully collected objects, art and artifacts, provide an insight into the rich local history and culture, testifying to the life of the local population in the past.

Morning (Tuesday/Saturday):

If you find yourself in the city on Tuesday or Saturday morning, do not miss to visit the local “fair” or market. There you can find local products such as fresh fruits, vegetables and cheeses – a real view of the rich range of local flavors.

Afternoon:

We return to the Hotel Panorama full of impressions and head by car to the “Old Drava” in Sveta Marija. There, a cheerful team awaits us for an unforgettable boat descent down the old course of the Drava River, all the way to the Adrenaline and Recreation Center Pozoj in Donja Dubrava. After the excitement on the water, we enjoy hanging out, barbecuing and relaxing in the beautiful nature.

After adventures on the “Amazon of Europe”, as the Drava is called because of the unique preservation and wilderness of its old course, we head to Donji Vidovec and reach the Hotel Golf, famous for its dark beer, a unique experience that lovers of gastronomic pleasures will really enjoy.

Evening:

Back to Hotel Panorama does not mean the enjoyment is over. Relax in the sauna and prepare for a delicious, light dinner before a well-deserved rest.Suggestion

Suggestion 2:

A day begins in the beautiful ambiance of the Hotel Golf in Donji Vidovec, where after breakfast we head for a bike ride to Sveta Marija. The first stop is with lace makers, true artists who are reviving the tradition of hand lacing. After that, we discover the beauty of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a place of peace and spirituality.

Upon returning to the Hotel Golf, we experience a real surprise – the gold panners of Donji Vidovec lead us to the Drava River. We board the boats and head towards the hidden Drava shoals near Donja Dubrava. There, we set up gold panning equipment and immerse ourselves in the story of the life of the river gold panners, learning about the techniques of gold panning that were once an important part of the life of this area.

In the afternoon, we return to Donji Vidovec, where we head out to the native collection in the center of the municipality. Enriched by knowledge and wonderful experiences, we head to Prelog by car. Dinner awaits us there at the Lovac City Café, an opportunity to enjoy authentic Međimurje flavors and conversation in a pleasant ambiance. The crown of the evening is a drop of Međimurje wine, the perfect way to round off a day filled with adventures, encounters with local culture, tradition and unforgettable experiences of Lower Međimurje.
